I have been involved in my local community for a number of years. During which time I had the opportunity to serve in many differant capacities.

From Team Captain to Event Chair at the Lecanto Relay for Life...my involvement with the American Cancer Society continues as I volunteer by serving on committees for local Relays and Cattle Barons' Balls.

I am a graduate of the 2007 Leadership Citrus Class which is 12 week class for emerging county leadership.
 

I was the Volunteer Council Chair for Progress Energy in the Nature Coast Area for 3 years coordinating employee involvement with local non-profits. Our council at the time was a model for the rest of the company. Our motto was "We Live Here - We Work Here - We Play Here".
 

I am currently the secretary for Citrus 2020, a vision building volunteer organization for Citrus County, FL and PR co-chair for the Inverness Relay for Life.
